It's easy to ignore the Corolla, which is a shame, because there are some unique and interesting models available. Especially with the E90 generation, which I consider to be the last interesting generation of the Corolla. Fun fact time:
Toyota did not import an E90 Corolla sedan with the 4A-GE. It was available in the E92 Corolla GT-S coupe. The E92 Corolla GT-S (pictured below) was a rebadged Toyota Sprinter, an E92 Sprinter Trueno. This means that effectively, there were no 4A-GE E90 Corollas in the United States.
While the on the same platform as the E90 Corolla, the Geo Prizm was actually a rebadged Toyota Sprinter sedan. It had a slightly different body style with a third side window.

The Prizm GSi was not just available as a sedan. It could also be had as a 5-door hatchback based on the Sprinter Cielo. It's probably one of the most obscure cars that came with the 4A-GE from the factory.

One of my friends had one of those corolla coupes, white with 72k miles on it. He got it after his dad passed away and DD'd it so he wouldnt have to drive his 03 cobra in the nasty stuff. Eventually after the interior got soaked because his street flooded, he sold it to someone localish and got a 99 crown vic instead.
I still see that corolla coupe floating around, I think the guy who owns it now works at the local pizza hut.

I like the white E90 sedan a lot... probably cause my aunt had one in the early 90s

Don't forget about the AE92 Levin coupe. Available with the 4A-GZE
also the AE92 wagon available with a unique fascia.

The first interesting generation of the Corolla, the E20. Also the first car I ever purchased. Solid rear axle, leaf springs, 1.6 Hemi.
